Our Vision

The TISNECH Hub —
a permanent home
for neurodivergent Greenwich

A calm, welcoming space where neurodivergent children and their families can simply be themselves — no judgement, no barriers, just belonging.

What we are building

Not just a building. A lifeline.

Right now TISNECH runs Saturday sessions at New Charlton Community Centre in Greenwich. Families travel from across South East London because they cannot find anything else that truly understands their child.

Our vision is a dedicated, permanent TISNECH Hub in Greenwich — sensory rooms, a family support space, education provision, therapeutic programmes, an indoor play area, and a young adult pathway. Open every week, not just Saturdays.

“Every family we meet asks the same question: why is there not more of this? The hub is our answer.”

— Brooklyn Banjoko, Founder, TISNECH

What the hub will include

Six spaces that change everything

Sensory Spaces & Therapeutic Rooms

Dedicated calm spaces designed around neurodivergent sensory needs — adjustable lighting, tactile walls, weighted tools, and quiet corners where children and young people can regulate, reset, and just breathe.

An inclusive play space where children of all abilities can explore, move and have fun — sensory-friendly zones, safe padded surfaces, and adaptive equipment so every child can join in.

Young Adult Pathways (Ages 17–24)

As young people grow up, support should not disappear. Planned provision for ages 17–24 covering life skills, employment readiness, peer community, and a place to keep belonging. Opening as funding is secured.

Family Support Hub

Drop-in support, workshops, peer groups, and one-to-one advice for families navigating diagnoses, EHCPs, benefits, and the daily reality of raising a neurodivergent child.

Why your support matters

This hub is needed. Right now.

We are already making a difference with our Saturday sessions and National Lottery Community Fund support. But a permanent hub means we can reach hundreds more families, offer year-round provision across multiple programmes, and give neurodivergent children and young people in Greenwich a place that is truly built for them.

Fundraising is central to making the hub happen. Every donation — however small — contributes directly to building spaces, securing equipment, and keeping sessions affordable for families who need them most.
